1. About these terms
By using dealmatch.co.nz you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What DealMatch is
DealMatch is an information and matching platform that aggregates publicly available information about New Zealand businesses for sale, private-equity portfolio activity and corporate divestments. We are not a business broker or agent, we are not a party to any transaction, and we do not take a commission on any sale.
3. Not advice
The content on DealMatch is general information only. It is not financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice and should not be relied on as such. You should carry out your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice before making any decision.
4. Accuracy of information
Listings and market data are sourced from third parties and publicly available sources. While we make reasonable efforts, we do not warrant that information is accurate, complete, current or available, and listings may change or be withdrawn without notice.
5. Matching
Buyer-to-listing matches are AI-assisted and indicative only. They are a starting point for your own research — not a recommendation, valuation, or assurance that a business is suitable for you.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the site lawfully and for genuine acquisition research, and not to scrape, copy, resell or misuse the data or attempt to disrupt the service.
7. Intellectual property
The DealMatch name, the site design and the compilation of information are owned by us or our licensors. You may view and use the site for your own research, but may not reproduce or redistribute its content without our permission.
8. Third-party sites
Listings link to external websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of those sites.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its information. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
